After all of the rain and storms we have had recently we found tadpoles in our swimming pool. We collected some w/ a net and put them into a container. We are going to watch them grow into frogs for our next project. Below is a link to a site about How to Raise Tadpoles.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to collect some more for Rylie's class to watch grow. I ordered more caterpillars for the class a few weeks ago. They have really enjoyed watching them grow and change.
ReplyDeleteSo far, I have taken the sea monkeys and turtles to school for the kids to see too. They loved it. This past week was beach week. The teacher asked me to bring in photos of the beach & aquarium. I took my laptop; and, all of the kids gathered around to watch w/ such fascination for an entire hour!
Next week they are studying the ocean. I am working on putting some of the video clips from the aquarium together to do a short home movie on the laptop for the kids next week.
I love being able to be so involved; and, I love all of the kids. There are different kids in his summer class; so, we are planning to do the pine cone bird feeders again soon.
I still need to finish editing the 300 PICS I took for the school of water play / cook out day. I always offer to do the photos for free for the school when they have events.
